Polyvinyl chloride PVC shrouds are used for fitting over cable glands where additional protection against generous weather conditions and corrosion is required. They provide an effective seal onto both gland and cable oversheath as well as fast and simple installation. PVC shrouds also enhance the IP rating of a termination.
